Diamonds in the Ruff

Hey Guys!

I’m sorry but I missed my blog post for last week because I was out of town for my birthday. If you remember the comedian/actor Pee Wee Herman, he would say “I’m sorry…I’m not sorry!’

Well that would be me on this instance!

Anyway, while I was out of town, we went to the only public Diamond Mine in the USA where you can dig for diamonds and other semi precious stones and keep what you find.

It was really cool. The whole learning experience of picking a spot, digging in the dirt, filling up a bucket with the dirt, carrying the bucket to a water station, using 2 sifters in a big water trough to shake the excess

dirt out, and then dump the remains in the sifters on to a table and sift thru that with your fingers to find the diamonds or other stones.

It was an amazing learning experience, but also alot of hard work and hot sun.

I found what might be a small diamond, but I still have to get it checked out, and some other cool stones and crystals as well.

And when I woke this morning, another cool analogy popped into my head.Digging for diamonds is like digging for customers.

You have to try new methods unknown to you, you have to put in alot of preparation, and time and creativity, and hard work, knowing that nothing may come from it.

But, at the same time, something may come from it, something BIG, your diamonds in the rough. Which in this scenario, is your truly awesome and loyal new customers!

So keep digging my friends and I know that your perseverance will make you successful !!

Until next time,

Jim O’Brien

Happy belated birthday. I am so glad you got to enjoy your birthday on a really cool adventure! Taking time away to enjoy life is one of the amazing rewards being an affiliate can bring. Once you build the foundation of your business, it continues to generate income while you’re off having fun and enjoying life!

Happy, Happy Birthday, Jim! I’ve been there, too! When I was there, it was pouring rain, but we searched for diamonds anyway. I was cold and wet but had a lot of fun. Didn’t bring any diamonds home, though. Good luck with that! I hope it turns out to be one 🙂

I can see the similarity between sifting for diamonds and finding customers. What a great analogy!

Happy Belated Birthday! Does anyone ever find a diamond? Seems like the real goal is to relax and enjoy the activity- and apply that to every other aspect of life!

Happy Birthday! That sounds fun. I don’t think we have anything like that in the UK.
It was a good analogy, the journey is all about having fun.

    Jim,
Happy Birthday! I have been digging for gems, mostly in the NC mountains or at the state fair. It is a lot of fun but yes hard work. “Digging for diamonds is like digging for customers.” Wow that is a great statement. you must put in the work to find your diamonds.

No worries, Jim! It sounds like you had an incredible adventure at the Diamond Mine. Digging for diamonds sounds like quite the experience—learning, hard work, and a bit of luck all rolled into one. Your analogy of digging for diamonds being similar to finding customers is spot on! It’s all about trying new methods, putting in the hard work, and staying persistent. Who knows, you might just uncover some truly valuable gems along the way. Here’s to your continued success and many more exciting adventures ahead. Atif
