Imagination…

Hey Guys!

Todays topic is on Imagination.

Remember when we were kids and we would play.We would play by ourself or with friends. We would play various games.

We would play board games, or play with dolls(girls) or GI JOE(boys), or with cowboys and indian pieces, or with little army guys and simulate battle.

We would pretend we are an adult , grown up and going to work, or cooking in the kitchen ,or acting out a role of an imaginary person, or singing like we were a rock star.

We would create these amazing characters in our minds to become, or play with ourselves, or with our friends.

We always wanted to hurry up and grow up.

Now we yearn to be a child again. We wish we didn’t have our brains boggled down with millions of racing thoughts of all the things we need to do and get done, and all the bills we have to pay and how we are gonna pay them.

I think we need to take time to breathe and relax and be a kid again.Have fun, dream and create.

And this brings me full circle to help with your online business.

If we can use fun, and dreaming and creating for our business, we can come up with great ideas to make, build, and write great blogs,  emails, newsletters, web designs, and creative ways for promoting things,

which will totally enhance and grow our businesses.

So really try to be a kid again and use your imagination for your business. I think it will really empower you.

And by the way, this whole blog I just wrote, came to me in a dream this morning, and I said ” I have to write about this ! ”

So there you go, proof in the pudding!

Until next time,

Jim O’Brien

    Yes!!!

I often joke with my boyfriend; when I was a kid, all I wanted to do was be a grownup; now that I am a grownup, all I want to do is be a cat!

Cats with good owners have the best lives; they eat well, bask in the sun, play, sleep, and get lots of love and cuddles!

But in all seriousness, as we get older, we tend to lose our imagination, and sometimes the thought of our dreams seems childish. We become jaded by the challenges life can present. This post is a good reminder to approach life with playfulness, imagination, and never give up on your dreams!

    Jim,
I absolutely agree with this blog! We must use our imagination, just like we did when we were younger. I, like you, have come up with many blog posts right before I fall asleep or as I am waking up. I think that is when my mind is the most creative.

I play as much as I can with my daughter, her imagination is incredible and I often talk about it with my husband. When do we stop playing and having fun? I hope she never looses it and doesn’t ever forget her dreams…. Even though they are currently to be a pop star mermaid so….. we’ll see!

Jim, what a refreshing reminder to tap into our inner child and unleash our imagination! It’s true, as kids, we effortlessly embraced creativity and playfulness. Your blog beautifully illustrates how reconnecting with that imaginative spirit can fuel our businesses with fresh ideas and innovation. Thanks for the inspiring read, Jim! Can’t wait to see what dreams you turn into reality next. Atif

Jim, this is GREAT! Adults can really blow sometimes because we become so serious and boring. We all need to bring back the inner child within and showcase that part of our personalities in our business. By doing so, we bring a spark and a spunk to the content we create, and that makes us stand out from others. Good call on this content, as I think everyone enjoyed reading it and is probably taking a moment to reflect on their childhood again. Well Done!!

    Jim,

Great reminder to unleash our imagination. Often we grow up and forget about our dreams. After all we adults now and there is no time for such silly childish things. At least that is what we tell ourselves.

However, having dreams and using one’s imagination is a powerful tool for success. For imagination turns into dreams and dreams into goals and goals into fulfilment.

May we take time to imagine the life that is possible.

    Hi Jim,
I must say I’m still a kid with several things. 😉 With my business I like to take this approach. Being stressed is not creative. Like you said we need some moments to let go and enjoy what we do. So let’s play and use our imagination! Our business will benefit from it !
